How to add the Matter Version blub with Amazon Alexa


Method 1: Add the device by scanning  QR Code.
1. Open the Alexa App and tap Device on the bottom bar


2. + button in the upper left corner of Devices, select Add Device


3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the Other icon, click Matter


4. Click Next according to the prompt on the page, and then scan the QR code of the device to be added


Note: When selecting a router, if the dual-band function of the router is not enabled, please make sure that you are using the 2.4GHz frequency band SSID of the same router as the Echo speaker


5. The adding process will take about 30 seconds, and the lamp will flash 1 time

If the blub cannot be added successfully, please check the following information:
a. Confirm that the device is in the factory state (the color of the light will cycle automatically after power-on, if not, please reset the device)
b. Confirm that Alexa App (Android version) and Echo speaker version meet the minimum version requirements

c. Make sure your mobile phone and Echo speaker using the Amazon Alexa App (Android version) are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi

Method 2: Add devices with 11-digit Code
1. Open the Alexa App and click Devices on the bottom bar
2. + button in the upper left corner of Devices, select Add Device
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the Other icon, click Matter
4. Click Next according to the prompt on the page, and enter the 11-digit Code


5. When selecting a router, if the dual-band function of the router is not turned on, please make sure that you are using the 2.4GHz frequency band SSID of the same router as the Echo speaker.
6. The adding process will take about 30 seconds, and the light will flash 1 time
